- What does GBM6 mean?
- “GB” stands for “GrooveBoston,” which encompasses performance-oriented projects that feature our resident DJs and branded US tours.
- “M6” is short for “Mission Six,” which was the working title for our non-DJ projects when we launched a new division in 2013 to broaden our service range.
- GBM6 was launched in 2018 as a consolidated brand. We’re now a single team, focused on producing legendary events that make people happy.
- Wait... are you a DJ company?
- GrooveBoston was originally built as a production-intensive DJ show, featuring our own resident DJs. We produced 10 tours with this model, and continue to crush tech-heavy DJ shows, as part of our broader range of services.
- Somewhere along the way, we realized that our passion & expertise was much broader than just DJ shows, and that our team was well suited to focusing on a wider range of projects.
- GBM6 is now bigger than just DJ shows -- we regularly produce large-scale concerts with major artists, as well as massive special projects of all kinds.
- We specialize in legendary events that make people happy, with a deep focus on technical production.
